Adam was raised on his family farm in Kamloops, BC, and later pursued a career in civil engineering, working on remote projects across northern Canada. In 2019, he returned to co-found Woodward Cider Co. with his two brothers, both also engineers, while joining his parents in running Privato Vineyard and Winery. In 2021, Adam ventured down the Bitcoin rabbit hole and began accepting Bitcoin for wine purchases in 2023, and has recently co-founded BTC Kamloops, a local Bitcoin meetup.
